AI assistant
Carolinas Dev is a fully-AI answering service. There is no live human agent on our side of the call. The AI identifies itself as an automated assistant at the start of every call, before any other conversation happens. If your jurisdiction requires specific recording disclosure language, that is added during onboarding.
Not a law firm · no legal advice
Carolinas Dev is an answering and intake service, not a law firm. Nothing the AI says or processes constitutes legal advice, legal representation, or an attorney-client relationship. Intake is UPL-safe by design — consistent with ABA Model Rule 5.5 and the supervision standard of Rule 5.3. The AI captures facts and routes the structured summary to the firm; attorneys make every case decision.
Not a medical provider · no medical advice
Carolinas Dev is not a healthcare provider. The AI does not give medical advice, perform clinical triage, interpret symptoms, or confirm coverage. True emergencies are directed to 911 first; mental-health crisis calls are routed to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Where we serve medical practices, intake is HIPAA-aware; the BAA chain and per-practice data handling are executed before any live patient call.
Not a CPA · no tax advice
Where we serve accounting and tax firms, the AI screens new clients and captures intake. It does not give tax, accounting, or financial advice; quote fees the firm hasn't approved; or interpret IRS notices.
Not an insurance carrier · no coverage advice
Where we serve insurance agents, the AI captures FNOL details and qualifies quote requests. It does not interpret coverage, make claim decisions, or quote premiums. State insurance regulations vary; scripts are configured to your state's requirements.
Not a real-estate appraisal service · no value quotes
Where we serve agents and brokerages, the AI captures lead details and books showings. It does not quote property values, claim MLS access it doesn't have, or make representations about properties the agent hasn't seen.
Call recording
Calls may be recorded for quality, training, and operational purposes. Recording and consent handling are subject to applicable state laws; in two-party-consent states, callers are notified at the start of each call. The web demo and floating voice widget on this site display an explicit consent dialog before any recording starts.
Comparison pages · FTC material-connection disclosure
Carolinas Dev publishes the comparison pages on this site (under /best). We list our own service alongside others and apply the same public, stated criteria to every entry — see our methodology. We earn revenue when readers book a demo with us; we accept no payment for placement. Reviews and ratings are not fabricated.
